People used to say that when I was exposing Ted Cruz as a sneaky little liar on this forum.

I recall those days, and Trump does not need to start supplying the public with a string of pointless examples of what objectionable behavior he can indulge in. He needs to leave that sort of thing behind.

Conservatives aren't lemmings.

Yep, and there is some percentage of them who will stay home on election day if they find a candidate's behavior or attitude objectionable, even if it helps a Dim in the election. And all the whining and gnashing of teeth in the world won't change that.

Sessions recusing himself was a bad move. Ignoring Clinton crimes is unacceptable.

I’m not suggesting the reporting is fake. I’m suggesting that Trump has ulterior motives here if he’s going to the NY Times — a thoroughly discredited liberal propaganda rag that has been working to undermine Trump for two years — to put this story out there initially.

And you seem to have quite the fetish for Jeff.

You seem to have quite a nasty little mouth, or attitude about you.

“He was the vegetable manager at a Publix store in Florida”

So What?

I have a metric f*ckton more respect for the vegetable manager at Publix in Florida than I do for anyone in Washington DC not named Trump.

You should be thankful that I self censored what I really wanted to say to you.

You wouldn’t have liked it.

I’m an Alabama native and Sessions was my Senator. I was a huge supporter when he was Senator and was elated when he was appointed AG.

That’s why it pains me to see how timid and incompetent Sessions has been as AG. He doesn’t even seem like the same man.

I’m deeply disappointed in the trivial issues that Sessions has decided to focus on: Civil forfeiture and the punishment of everyday pot smokers and medical marijuana users.

Sessions has always been strong on immigration so why isn’t he aggressively going after Sanctuary Cities? He needs to be putting the hammer on those treasonous cities.

The prosecution of Hillary, Obama, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder and Lois Lerner should be on the table. Violent hate groups such as Antifa should be punished for their crimes.

But Sessions chooses to be a “gentleman” and go easy on the traitors who are destroying this country. We need a ruthless attack dog who will give the enemy no quarter, not a polite gentleman.

I now wish Sessions would have remained as a Senator because he was more effective in that role.

I don’t blame Trump for being furious about Sessions recusing himself. That was a mistake and a White Flag to the Democrats.

Yeah, the crowd tonight was really put off, lol!

And every Trump voter and potential Trump voter in Ohio and the entire USA thinks exactly like those at the Youngstown rally tonight. Right?

“Can you tell me why, while the recuse issues swirled around the media from late January until Sessions recused on March 2, Trump or Preibus or the WH counsel didn’t call those involved together to analyzed the legal issues and make a team decision?

That’s how good managers and executives operate”.

Excellent points. There is no excuse for the way this transpired.

I wouldn't have cared enough to like or dislike it.

Ha ha, I’ve been thinking that all along; WWE style drama, trumping deep state kabuki.

-- I'm not suggesting the reporting is fake. --

I did a bad job of stating my point. It gets harder to credibly label Trump's remarks as a charade between Trump and Sessions, or as a charade in general, when Trump's remarks persist over days and various outlets.

>>Why, then, are the criticisms public? It looks to me like he’s putting on a show, WWE style.

Sessions has already offered his resignation and Trump did not accept it. Trump apparently still wants him there. Ball is in Trump’s court. He can accept the resignation or tweet. So far just tweets.

Here’s what you and your crybaby ilk keep missing - Trump is about results period. If he gets results he gets reelected. Period. He doesn’t care about daily opinion polls or take my ball and go home types.

He ran to win and he won to change things. Not go along get along.

Trump is killing it. Economy is booming and he has largely followed thru big time on every campaign promise. He ain’t going to let Sessions or anyone derail that and he doesn’t care what you think. For every crybaby follower of daily politics who bails on him are kitchen table Republicans AND Democrats who pick up the slack.
