I. too, hope this conflict is a ruse to allow Sessions unfettered implementation of the Trump immigration/sanctuary cities agenda. But little is being said about both of Sessions recusals. The most cited one is that he recused himself from the Russia/vote rigging investigation. But, more importantly, he recused himself from investigating HRC and her transgressions. In order for Trump to turn the tables on the Dems/Media drumbeat and get this behind him he must find a way to investigate Hillary despite his initial reluctance to and media accusations of improperly punishing a defeated political opponent. Why else would HRC or Obama for that matter be keeping relatively quiet unless they felt they were not yet out of jeopardy?

Sessions got Trump’s Immigration Order approved by the Supreme Court. Sessions said he’s ready for the next phase of it in the fall. I think it depends on it getting the time extended.
Rush never a nevertrumper
I wondered why people were equating Trump and Hillary during the GOP nomination race and then found out they were listening to Rush.
Normally semi-intelligent people were regurgitating the idiocy Rush perpetuated by pre-selected and pre-screened callers. He tried to walk that tightrope of deception but his fat ass fell off.
Like Levin, his career and reputation are over.
That, plus it gets the media and other others on record defending Sessions honor, making it somewhat harder to question his actions down the road.

Exactly. It also keeps Hillary, Obama and Comey, et al, relaxed and unsuspecting of the coming wrecking ball of charges against them. No chance to prepare for the blow.
One of the greatest acts of political Kabuki theater from this administration so far, and extremely well done. Sessions is going nowhere except to start seating several Grand Juries for the coming slaughter.

He was brilliant when he started, EG. Then I think he coasted for many years. BUT, today he was the old Rush again.
I am one who stopped listening to Rush years ago. Today, en route with errands, my husband turned the radio on to Rush, and we listened. Wow, he was very very good in his analysis. You could tell this whole Trump-Sessions thing has him intrigued, and he has once again begun to use the excellent brain God gifted him with, to analyze, to discern, to speculate.
He was a joy to listen to today. I will criticize when I think it is warranted, but I will also praise when appropriate.
