Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) is offering to withdraw from Alabama's special Senate election to make way for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to take the Republican nomination for his former seat - if the other GOP contenders vow to do the same.
Brooks's proposition comes as President Trump ratchets up criticism of his attorney general, signaling a potential push by the White House to oust Sessions from the Justice Department.

I am still really confused about what is happening here.
Things need to move much faster. Fire everyone at the state department. Start building the wall. Start tax reform. Repeal Obamacare. Forget 'replace' - give it back to the free market

I think basically Pres. Trump wants the A.G. to get his priorities straight, and use his authority to stop the obstructions of the left, the Democrats, and the establishment are perpetrating on his administration to prevent him from keeping his promises.
I’d say that isn’t much to ask of the A.G.
Just let Sessions retire. He is old.

Well, the simplest thing to do would be for the guy who was appointed to resign so Sessions could be appointed to his own seat. That would work. But gotta get rid of Rosenstein first.

I do not think Sessions will be given the GOP nomination. But I know nothing.

You are assuming it was free market before Obamacare. Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, FEHB, CHAMPVA and numerous federal and state regulations all existed before Obamacare.
This is the pattern, Trump starts this stuff and the mediots are focused on it, while something else of greater import goes down.
I suspect that Sessions is in on it, and whatever it is, is going to be a bombshell.
Yeah, but at least there was a private market for health insurance before ACA....not now, the wife and I are forbidden from buying the policy we need. (HSA type high-deductable, no “EHB’s”). Sad days in American when you cannot purchase a normal legal product.
I imagine President Trump watching this MSM frenzy on TV, chortling and saying out loud, “ are you not entertained!” (Gladiator)
