Mitch needs to threaten to takeaway key Chair positions from Senators who don’t support repeal.
Juan is chair of the Senate Armed Forces Committee.
Murk is chair of the Senate Energy Committee.
Collins is chair of the Senate Committee on Aging.

Schumer uses it for the 2018 elections....which prompts the cowardly Republicans to get it done....or go home and stay home cause your butt won't have a prayer in the primary, not to mention the general election. I love the move, now DO IT !

Just DO it!

Congresscritters excuse is that such a move hurts their staffers, not the reps themselves....which would eventually force them to cut staff (OK so far) or increase their contribution (also OK). Either way they won’t be happy with it and should get them off their arse. John Q public will love both aspects. A big win, as I see it.

Absolutely, yes. So, PDJT can make a blanket yank of coverage, then specifically exempt the good guys. Love it.

This is an absolutely brilliant move. The reason nothing got done on Obamacare was the crooked symbiotic relationship between our paid off politicians and the crony capitalists who have been taking easy money at the government trough for so long they can no longer operate without it. Watch how fast the crooked politicians get off their keisters now.

I don’t think Trump is helping his cause by making these statements. The Dems will simply blame him if it fails. Which it ultimately will. These are the kinds of things you tell you own people behind closed doors.

Youre a fool, Never Trumper. My premiums went from 29 dollar a month to $4,000 a month in January. If thats not skyrocketing, what is??? And when Trump stops the subsidies then watch them skyrocket even more.

.... Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) fired back Saturday, saying Trump should “stop playing politics with people’s lives....
Isn’t that a major part of liberalism and the Democrat party?

Ending health care subsidies is a sound and practical move. Government is taking from the taxpayers, giving it to those without coverage, and giving more money to insurance companies to subsidize them to provide coverage to the uninsured even more.
End the subsidies, end the stranglehold that United Health, Aetna, and Humana have over the health insurance market, and deregulate the entire industry.
If auto insurance can be sold by cute little gekkos or the voice of Dennis Haysbert, then health insurance sure as Hell can be sold the same way.

Trump can’t do that. He is not a dictator. Congress exempted themselves from the law, which they do with most laws they pass. The voters shouldn’t allow it or the president should veto laws that Congress exempt themselves. But laws are so hard to pass, no president is going to veto it because of that.

Actually, Obama exempted Congress. Trump can overturn that EO.
