Samantha Power Almost Confirmed As Being Behind All The Unmasking Last Year?

If this is locked down, does the ensuing crapstorm roll uphill? And if so, how far? Assuming Nunes has determined that those many, many requests, all of which supplied only “boilerplate” as an explanation for why the identity of the people was required, came from Power, then somebody at NSA/FBI approved them all. Maybe they’re not in trouble because she was well placed with the White House, but still…

The last point to make here is that Power’s attorney already flatly stated that Power “never leaked” any of that information to the press. Of course everyone says that these days, but the names did show up in the New York Times in a couple of cases shortly after (presumably) Power requested them. Also, if you watched cable news at all during the second half of 2016, particularly MSNBC, Power was a fixture on those news shows to the point you’d have thought she was under contract. Was the attorney statement a too clever defense if she asked somebody else to leak the information in the style of Comey? But unlike Comey’s memos, this could be a case of digging far too deep into something that was never supposed to reach the media.

I don’t think we’re anywhere near done with this story. If the Democrats keep saying that this is nothing but a distraction to shift the conversation away from Trump’s own Russia problems, that defense won’t hold back the flood for very long if Nunes actually has his teeth into something.

So if anyone in the Obama administration asked the FBI to unmask the Trump campaign team, the FBI is powerless to deny that request? As UN Ambassador,Powers had NO business making those requests, and should have been told so.
It sounds as though the FBI was only too happy to spy on the Republican candidate’s team. Obviously there was collusion among Democrats in the Obama administration and the intel agencies, but what will the Republicans do about it? Now they have a dozen Democrats led by Mueller trying to find an impeachable offense to get rid of President Trump.

Come on please follow the rules.

There is a reason to lock-down this tread.

“MOST Democrats should be in PRISON!”

That might be construed as ‘cruel and unusual punishment’ for the other inmates.

Just so long as no committee or prosecutor gives her immunity. Unmasking involved paperwork and requests, which should be easy enough to approve. The officials who received the requests, even if verbal, are likely employees, not political operatives, let them have immunity to testify that they received the requests and from whom. Then lit her explain that she got them, and if she did not leak them, who did she give them to. Further, was she asked to do the unmasking or did it on her own. Somewhere is email to prove perjury is she chooses to lie.

What I don't understand is that Trump has been in office for over 6 months and his administration has not coughed up details. Seems all he and his leadership need to do is tell their staff to release all info. Maybe Trump and company are simply milking this as a distraction to keep beating up on Dems?

Power needs to be flipped and granted immunity, she has young children and a very smart lawyer husband...she doesn’t want to go to prison...

Rice who will take one for Obama and the team...Brennan the psycho would prefer to take Bill Colby’s old kayak out on a one way paddle down the Potomac...

The illegal unmasking of Trump, his family, his campaign staff and business associates is the biggest political scandal nobody wants to talk about...

If Samantha Power signed the requests she would have done so as the pawn of whomever was running the Democrat’s surveillance and destabilization ops (assuming she was not). Why would the UN Ambassador have ANY role in intel analysis? The UN Ambassador is a consumer of intel product, who gets instructions from the State Department on what US policy is. She was not an analyst who had any reason to see even the masked communications.

This smells like misdirection or a set up to blame a foreign national who can slip away.

Between Samantha and her husband, Cass Sunstein, you may be on to something.

Doesn’t each FISA judge - Many John Roberts appointees - have paper copies of all the applications for warrants/unmasking?

Toomey set the narrative: for every charge every RINO incurs in aiding in undermining the Trump campaign and presidency, the defense will be ‘we didn’t think he was gonna win’.

MEMORY LANE----US hater Samantha Power appeared subdued and deferential as she appeared before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (tapped to replace Susan (gag) Rice as U.S. ambassador to the UN.

Power once referred to the United States as an “empire,” and mocked the Bush administration’s Iran policy as “a lurch from one imagined crisis to the next.” She actually complained of Israel’s “major human rights abuses” toward the Palestinians.

Salivating over the position, Power said anything necessary to get past the committee. She backtracked on just about every criticism she’s ever lobbed at the US......instead she blithely announced, “I believe the United States is the greatest country on earth. I really do.”

Samantha Power wasn’t behind sh*t.

The candidates for “behind unmasking” are three: Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, and John O. Brennan.

The candidates for “behind Barack Obama” are two: Valerie Jarrett and William Ayers.

Just an average day in the Obama police state---
"Susan the Sifter" gets her orders for the day.

"Susan, as you sift through the intel, get me something
damaging on Penguin books so I can shake them down for
a lucrative book deal."

"And get Harvey Weinstein's tax returns. Malia needs a job."

"Oh, and Lois needs intel to target conservatives' tax-exempt status.
And don't forget the FBI files on Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer."

Conversely, per RAT thought process, if the paper trail is destroyed, there was no doing by the Court. HRC hid court records during the Watergate invo, getting fired and banned by her supervisor.
