Media Rules for Muslim Mass Killing Reporting:
1. Motive unclear.
2. Lone wolf. Doesn’t seem to be part of a wider threat.
3. Attacker mentally unstable.
4. Nothing to do with Islam.
5. Local Muslims fear backlash.
I’ve actually seen the ‘fear backlash’ story run the same day as a mass attack. Scrape the bodies off the infidels off the streets before telling us what Muslims might fear, please.

It’s very easy to justify those rules when you start (or are forced to start) with the wrong assumption - i.e. Islam is the religion of peace.
Given that, no killing could ever be because of Islam.
I think it was George W Bush that first told us that after Islamists, following the dictates of the Koran, killed over 3000 people and changed the world forever.
No problem, though, reality has a way of curing us of our delusions.
What the cops say from the scene (widely covered in the German press at this point):
1. The guy is Iraqi....however, he’s been in Germany for 15 years. He came out in the 2002 period.
2. The guy dead was the door security guy...the bouncer.
3. The guy had an automatic weapon. No one says that he had a license...my guess is that it’ll be deemed an illegally acquired weapon.
4. The German cops say they’ve had run-in’s with the guy before but don’t say what kind of activity.
5. All of this occurred at 4:30AM at a disco.
If I were going to take a guess on this...this was some small-time drug-kingpin from the region and the disco had cleaned up on drug sales within the disco...keeping out his dealers. This was intended to be some kind of pay-back. The guy has no connection to asylum or immigration business. As of yet, no one can cite his job or profession, which makes you think he’s some mafia-like player.
Yeah...follow the backlash stories appearing in Mpls papers.
