One thing the flatlands are great for is storm chasing though!

Sounds like your timing was really good for this trip since you missed the dust storm. Those can’t be fun to deal with AT ALL.

Hope your Florida visit went well and you were greeted home with nice progress on your renovations.

It made me cough just seeing it and thinking about it. LOL

It can get dusty here - - it did last year when we had no rain - but we don’t have the wind to kick it up into those ugly storms.

It’s most unpleasant and ruins spring nearly every year.

Did you finally cool off some? Get any rain for your poor corn?

I’d say unpleasant is an understatement. Yuck!

Yes, we cooled off the past two days and the humidity dropped as well. A front came through Friday giving us 2 inches of rain here though some areas west of us got 6 to 7 inches!

Well, 7 inches might have been “overkill”, but 2 inches sounds just about perfect and being cool on top of that was a great combo!

Guess I’d better head out for the night. I keep forgetting that I’m in a different time zone and keep wondering why I’m sleepy earlier. LOL! The girls don’t let me sleep late, especially since I’m sleeping on the couch.

The weather has cooled off some but it's still a bit humid. Bo did find a turtle out at Comanche Lake. We may get some rain this week. Crossing our fingers.
