Imran Awan was arrested at Dulles International Airport July 24, while attempting to board a flight to Pakistan. For more than a decade the congressional staffer had worked under top House Democrats, and he had just been accused by the FBI of bank fraud.

It was a dramatic moment in a saga that started in February, when Capitol Police confirmed an investigation into Mr. Awan and his family on separate accusations of government theft. The details are tantalizing. The family all worked for top Democrats, were paid huge sums, and had access to sensitive congressional data, even while having ties to Pakistan.

The Pakistan govt apparently considers Imran very important b/c of his braggadocio----representations about his political power in the US, saying he's "from the Congress." The grateful Paki govt even provides Imran with a VIP police escort.

This is very easy to unravel. Pres Trump, AG Sessions, and SOS Rex Tillerson call in the Pakistani Ambassador for a "little chat." The Pakistani Ambassador surely knows plenty---like (a) what important issues Imran is "advising" Cong Debbie about, (b) the whereabout of Imran's wife, and, (c) the rest of the Paki IT gang.

What I want to know is how we went from the post-9/11 mindset to letting obvious Islamist agents have this kind of access — and paying them for it too. It just boggles my mind. In a more serious era, we would have busted the whole ring (including the Congress people who enabled them). Unfortunately, it seems that most people stopped taking national security seriously after the Cold War.

The Secret Service has vacated its command post inside Trump Tower in Manhattan following a dispute between the government and President Trump’s company over the terms of a lease for the space, according to two people familiar with the discussions.

Previously, the Secret Service had stationed its command post — which houses supervisors and backup agents on standby in case of an emergency — in a Trump Tower unit one floor below the president’s apartment.

But in early July, the post was relocated to a trailer on the sidewalk, more than 50 floors below, a distance that some security experts worry could hamper the agency that protects the president’s home and family.

The command post appears unlikely to move anytime soon back inside Trump Tower, where the president and his family have rarely gone since moving to the White House.

On Thursday, a spokeswoman for the Trump Organization said the government should seek space in another location.

The Capitol Police confronted her at the airport but could not stop her.

“U.S. Customs and Border Protection conducted a search of Alvi’s bags immediately prior to her boarding the plane and located a total of $12,400.00 in U.S. cash inside. Alvi was permitted to board the flight to Qatar and she and her daughters have not returned to the United States,” the affidavit says.

“Alvi had numerous pieces of luggage with her, including cardboard boxes… Your affiant does not believe that Alvi has any intention to return to the United States.”...

It seems to me likely that the Awans were knowingly rewarded for espionage. The Democrats were and probably still are passing as much sensitive information to the Mohammedans as they can push through the Awan pipeline and surely other conduits we know not yet of. i do think those among them who can think farther forward than next Wednesday, perhaps all the way to next month, fully believe they can force the nation to become Moslem and convert to Islam at the perfect moment so that they retain their ruling class status in a new totally controlled society. They envy the sultans and caliphs of old who lived in splendour while the general population lived at subsistence level.

From what I have read/viewed abut the Awans you can pretty much pick a crime and they have participated in it from Murder on down to embezzlement, kidnapping, you name it.
