Trump has done this before. He puts out a major fact—true and accurate—and then he throws in a minor but false detail. The MSM can’t help itself. In their naked desire to correct the negligible detail, they end up reporting the major fact—in this case stolen valor.

It’s a pattern. It works.

Trump rings the bell. The liberal dogs salivate.

I'm convinced that Trump does do these things purposely. I haven't yet figured out whether everything he does is so purposeful or whether the pattern you have observed is designed to obscure those times when he makes real errors.

Either way, he is making his enemies look very foolish. I think some smarter Democrats are starting to catch on but most of the liberal media is clueless.

Our President could be a genius. Not about everything, but certainly about many things.
