This is not a gay issue, it’s a molestation issue. Been there, done that. Molesters can be married to women and go on to molest and groom boys or girls. There apparently aren’t enough ways to prevent these things. Keep children out of situations where they will be alone with any adult. Hard to achieve. This is very much a “gay issue”; it involved a perp raping somebody of the same sex. It is a gay issue within the Catholic Church, and it is a gay issue within the Boy
Scouts; avoiding that terms is just glossing over the illness of homosexuals.

As an Eagle Scout since 1970 and, until 4 years ago, an OA Vigil and a Woodbadge trained Scout Leader and Commissioner, I can safely say that the roots of the demise of the BSA can be traced back to their adoption of a pluralistic approach to the first item of the Scout Oath.

Same applies to schools, churches, we have women molesting young boys, as well as men young girls. I never had a male teacher until 6th grade. He never saw any student alone. Nor did my HS teachers.
