Just like the DC shooter, I submit for consideration that this guy is yet another product of politicized and polarizing media. He is at the tip of the iceberg of people who the media has fomented with hate. Granted, those who will let their hate succumb to violence are a small minority (let’s hope), but these people are full of hate because they are lead to believe that republicans and/or conservatives are out to harm them. It’s very personal to them. The media has them convinced that they face an existential danger, and that danger is republicans. This is what happens when the media is politicized.

He will have many leftist fans now, although probably not many of the usual offers of marriage, except “overtures” from fellow inmates.

Wouldn’t this be funny if it were “drug deal gone wrong”? Or some other incidental thing?

We got to stop taking the bait. Otherwise we are dragged down to their level.
