Eric Parker at :16).... she (US District Judge Gloria Navarro) the day before (Wednesday) decided that none of our witnesses were relevant. She made them all come on through Skype and we asked them the questions...(no jury)
at :40)....She (Navarro) basically said that the right of witnesses (Sixth Amendment) was not an unlimited right......
1:10).... I believe they (prosecution) called like 30 witnesses.....
1:53)...she decided that self defense is not a defense in my case....
4:33)...I should still be able to show the facts of what happened. She repeatedly said the jury is the decider of the facts.....Well she and the court are not allowing the facts to come into play.....
5:15)...the next day (Thursday) we got into court and our legs once again, just like the last trial had been cut off from underneath us......(defense lawyer)...'Eric, I guess its time for you to get up on the stand'.....
8:15)....she (Judge Navarro) said that I could talk about things I saw and things I heard but I can't talk about how that made me feel which completely contradicts my intention.
The government has put on their case and tried to show my intention through their evidence and to imply what they believe my intention was and is. Now I was unable to talk about what my intentions were.....
11:10) ...So all I said was 'up and to the right. Steve Myhre (prosecutor) objected..... Sidebar.....She (Navarro) came back and said 'Well the government's motion is granted and Mr. Parker you can go and sit down'.
I stood up....I was trying to understand.....I was pretty blown away. The marshal came over and said 'Lets go' and I walked off the stand and sat down and she (Navarro) closed court for the day and ushered the jury out pretty fast.....

He tells his side of what happened during his trial.
Another defendant, Scott Drexler, is expected to attempt to testify on his own behalf Monday and supporters hope a lot of folks will show up outside the federal courthouse in Las Vegas to protest this travesty.
Parker was tyring to testify on his own behalf in his own defense in connection with the April 12, 2014 Bunkerville Standoff near Bundy Ranch.
The lead prosecutor praised by AG Jeff Sessions last month for his handling of the case, Acting US Attorney Steven Myhre, got the judge to severely limit what Parker could say, including using the Constitution's First and Second Amendments as a defense.
This might all be self aggrandizing cant on the part of Parker, but still. It seems something is lost from freedom when the jury isn’t allowed to pass judgment about whether or not that is the case. In the name of efficiency, we’ve got courtocracies now.
Second, that no-good judge needs to be replaced.
I for one appreciate your effort to keep us all updated. This case should be much more important than it is treated. The people stood up to government tyranny and against serfdom and now they have no rights because they did so. Anyone who doesn’t realize how important this is does not deserve freedom or rights at all and should just go stick their head in the sand.
There’s going to need to be a radical demand from We The People to allow this kind of discourse in courtrooms, before it’s going to happen. Lawyers will be lawyers, and legal Napoleons will be legal Napoleons.
What isn’t going to work is just whining.
For what its worth I quote from this story at this link which is an MSM account.
“Navarro’s rulings have severely limited defense arguments to avoid what she has described as jury nullification”
Well... at least that’s the claim of Parker and others.
It might be true, it might be false. Parker might have done the hideously wrong thing and be as guilty as hell.
But somehow, not being able to bring it up at all, seems a problem. Now technically, the dog and pony show has to go on till it comes to some kind of verdict, THEN the issue gets pushed to an appellate court, which CAN look at these kinds of issues, etc.
Court efficiency and court discourse freedom seem to have some kind of inimical relationship. Part of this is because the average juror today is as dumb as a stump, rather than being the educated citizen that was the ideal of yesteryear. Because it’s so, judges feel duty bound to do something to keep it from becoming an issue, like keeping such discourse away from jurors altogether. I don’t know what the ultimate answer will be.
GULLIBLE & STUPID SESSIONS accepts everything his pre-positioned LEFTIST DOJ STAFFERS tell him. Perversions of Justice similar to this Oppression case will continue until Trump replaces Sessions with someone with more courage and less submission to the DOJ Deep Staters.
I’m beginning to think that Sessions is being WILLFULLY obtuse & ignorant.
Lets root for Roy Moore in Alabama on Tuesday. Sessions elected replacement in the Senate needs to be someone who shakes the trees.
And Roy Moore will definitely be one who is not afraid of “shaking the trees” — which are in dire need of continuous forceful shaking. I contributed to the Judge’s campaign in the primary and will do so again for the likely September runoff.
