Yair Netanyahu, son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, declared Wednesday that left wing organizations in the U.S. pose a greater threat than neo-Nazis.
According to The Times of Israel, the younger Netanyahu gave his thoughts about last weekends violent protests in Charlottesville, Va That ended with three dead and 35 injured.
President Trump has blamed both sides for the violence that occurred and told reporters last Tuesday, You had a group on one side that was bad and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent. Nobody wants to say it, but I will say it right now.
Netanyahu posted on Facebook, To put things in perspective, Im a Jew, Im an Israeli, the neo nazis scums [sic] in Virginia hate me and my country. But they belong to the past. Their breed is dying out.
He added that the thugs of Antifa and [Black Lives Matter] who hate my country (and America too in my view) just as much are getting stronger and stronger and becoming super dominant in American universities and public life.
PM Netanyahu himself tweeted Tuesday that the events in Charlottesville outraged him, specifically the expressions of anti-Semitism, neo-Nazism and racism.
Sources close to the Prime Minister, stated that the PM said of Yairs comments that Yair is an adult and his views are his alone
Likud MK Oren Hazan agreed with Trumps Tuesday statement.
Violence and extremism on any side is forbidden and demands condemnation, he explained. That doesnt matter to the bleeding hearts on the left and in the media. After all, they believe that only the right is extremist and violent.
