I wonder if someone, or a group, promped the SA that he/she/they would make up any fall off in donations...

If so, who was it?

And if the SA is just gonna take the loss, why in heck are they doing this???

A second thought: maybe some corporate donors threatened to shut them off if they didn't pull out of the Mar a Lago event. On the other hand, I wouldn't think that the salvation Army would be a particularly sexy charity for leftist corporations to support in the first place.

A third thought: why is the Salvation Army even having events at a ritzy locale like Mar a Lago in the first place? Seems kind of extravagant for a charity devoted to the poor.
