I never cared for his style of comedy, though I appreciate the truly great work he did for charity. Memory eternal.
You’re a real a-hole.
But thanks for serving.
Having a liberal around is about as much fun as having a cop following you on the freeway.
His wife was even funnier than he was, My sides hurt after that encounter. Sadly just a year or so later she was gone, heavy smoker.
You haven’t looked in the mirror lately have you keyboard warrior? Yeah, we served for ass holes like you also along with all the good people.
You’re an a-h because you write people off for the stupidest reasons. Dean Martin, because he smoked too many cigarettes and, in your mind, drank too much (he didn’t really drink that much—it was part of his shtick/routine). Me, for simply asking you why you would dislike anyone solely for smoking a lot of cigarettes. That isn’t rational thinking. I hate cigarettes myself, but not people for smoking them. If anything, I feel sorry for them and hope they’d wake up and quit.
My wife’s favorite is “Pain in the Pullman”.
Always remember him in “The Geisha Boy”, “The Nutty Professor”, and “Who’s Minding the Store”.
Funny movies. And he made the world a little bit better of a place for a whole bunch of sick children with his telethon work for kids with MD. Over a billion dollars raised... God bless him.
If you’re going to live a life, then leave your mark... and he certainly left a large mark.
RIP, Jerry... thanks for all the laughter and the humanitarian work.
