Too busy worried about which bathroom to use. People who can’t decide if they are men or women shouldn’t drive ships.

“As far as what the CNO said, I don’t know what the hell he said or meant.”

I understood what he said. He said we’re going to start requiring good character and personal responsibility. (As we always did before the Klintonoids and Obamanations screwed things up.)

The question is whether this will be properly implemented.

Sorry but he is a real straight shooter and refuses to discuss anything pertaining to operations. He won a Bronze Star in Afghanistan and has not said a word about what he did. He certainly does not need Ethics training

“The Navy’s top officer says the service’s new emphasis on character in its leaders is meant as “a wake up call” for the service to be more competitive.”

Very bad timing for Richardson to have this story appear.

He needs to determine if he can stop these boats from crashing.

If he can’t, he needs to turn the job over to someone who can. And I don’t mean sometime next week.

In general, the federal government has long been promoting people into senior positions not on the basis of ability, but rather on diversity and political considerations. It was just a matter of time before “affirmative action” infected the military and effected our force readiness and morale. That’s what happens when mediocrity is promoted over merit.

The Navy should focus more on the bow and less on the poop deck.

I knew we were in trouble when the memorandum came down saying that it wasn’t fair to evaluate Soldiers by their performance in combat.

I wonder if these collision incidence are related to the Obama purge of experienced officers throughout the military? It took several years for the military to come back to competence after Clinton and worse, after Carter. The success of Bush’s “surge” in Iraq was not primarily due to the increased manpower but mostly to the fact that the officer corps had finally been reinvigorated by talent coming up through the combat ranks. The Surge made it much more effective but probably would not have accomplished much had it occurred a year earlier.

That’s right, more trannies and more people with tattoos from asshole to appetite, piercings everywhere, crazy haircuts with orange, green and purple hair, diversity is our strength, anyone who looks as if they know how to add two and two should be eliminated.
