A massive cargo ship sees you, and signals your vessel - and NO ONE on an advanced Navy destroyer sees it or responds?

That container ship “T boned” the destroyer. Not the other way around. There seems to be something going on in these navagation systems which needs a definite look see. For the McCain’s projected course to be on a path which places it in the way of the container ship and not suggest course monitoring by the McCain’s navigation crew should be examined
