CNN reporter Gary Tuckman was at the wrong place, at the wrong time tonight, as he struggled to report what was happening on the ground after being tear gassed by Phoenix police.

Source: Real Clear Politics

Real Clear Politics reports:

CNN’s Gary Tuckman, a correspondent on the ground in Phoenix, could barely speak to anchor Don Lemon after he got tear gassed.

Tear gas? I believe the Phoenix police used Smoke grenades. IIRC an RSBN announcer corrected his use of tear gas to smoke grenade. The MSM will not correct.

By inserting the reporter into the protesting crowd this CNN demonstrated very clearly the position CNN takes regarding these anarchist protests. CNN is aligned with the protesting factions (and has been since occupy and beyond) and is on the side of lawlessness.

“Because civil disobedience involves breaking the law, many philosophers have argued that it needs special justification. However, we can argue that this only applies when we have an obligation to obey the law. If, for example, the state is not legitimate or very unjust, then perhaps we don’t have political obligation” (unknown)

Who or what put it into the vacuum of anarchist thought that the state (government) is not legit?

What I do not grasp is how these anarchists can believe that an election won by the opposing party would be any better? And in all probability, far worse.

I have to follow the premise that anarchists in general, manufacture the reasoning when no reason exists.

Looks like Antifa failed to have the police roll over. A few more like that and they will wither away.

I am surprised.

I was convinced the Phoenix police would support the rabid disruptors

Only 4 were arrested. They should have arrested each and every person with a bandana covered face

Antifa only have power when the police are told to stand down by Democrat Mayors/Governors.

No, no, no. You obviously don’t understand. Trump exists. Therefore, he is an incitement to riot. Therefore, he and any supporters cause riots. CNN logic. </sarc>

AntiFA has people in red shirts ready to go to anyone who needs medical help. I wonder what his shirt says. Too bad antiFA doesn’t put their organizational skill to a positive use.

Not well done. Liberal mayor predicted “violence” and had the cops make sure he got his narrative. I watched it live on Fox Business and it sure looked that way to the reporter on the scene and everyone else in the studio.

Since these protesters are paid employee thugs—then it be should demanded they’re provided with Workers’ Comp. A few claims later, that’ll bankrupt the Soros group because they’ll not be able to afford the premiums.

Besides, these snowflakes will file a claim with every paper cut they get...not to mention cracks to the head.

Locally here, it seems like it was a big non-event. The protesters numbered in the 10s of 1s. They had a few rowdies and they were shut down fast after numbnuts took one for the team. Nice work protecting the public by the Phoenix police. Glad they all made it home safe. I mean, except for numbnuts...ouch!

I was at the rally with my family. The Phoenix PD did an outstanding job. They held us in the building just as we were exiting the main hall after the President’s speech. This was because if the smoke the police used on the idiots throwing rocks at the police, etc. when we left the building onto the street it was through a police cordon, with the officers in full riot gear.

All they need to do is ask to see their ID, especially the ones that hide their faces, issue tickets to those that “choose” not too. Failure to follow a lawful order is a fine.

I know it’s not much but if the cops start in on them when they are gathering it may just get their attention that the police mean business.
