Silicon Valley loves Burning Man and these tech executives are no exception

Among the 70,000 or so people who will make the trip to Black Rock City, Nevada, this weekend for the start of Burning Man will be some of the most influential people in Silicon Valley.

Every year, some of tech's top execs join the annual festival, dressing in shiny costumes and exploring the art installations just like everyone else.

The unwritten rules of the festival encourage anonymity and privacy. But the attendance of some of the CEOs and founders has been revealed by one of their enthusiastic peers on Medium. And many members of the tech elite have found their time on the playa — Burning Man speak for the dusty dry lake bed where the festival takes place — so life-changing that they couldn't help but speak about it publicly.

While nicknames and creative costumes often make it difficult to know if you've run into someone famous at the festival, a little knowledge can go a long way. These are the powerful techies known to hang out in Black Rock City.

Who knows? You might just run into one of them on one of the festival's famous art cars.

Not to mention such brilliant minds as suzzie saranwrap, and k.d. perry. Yeah, what was once a rally against "THE MAN" (get it, BURNING MAN) has become a YUGE capitalist venture. Someone locally advertised 3 tickets and 3 parking passes for the event. A mere $4,500(face value!) for them. No wonder when it's over next week, after all the debauchery and sex tent antics, there will be mj scented patchouli oil odiferous folks looking for a hand out to get back from whence the came.

Nothing like an old fashioned pagan ritual to bring out the animal spirits in us.

Don’t forget camping under the stars with 24/7 dj’s at 110db rocking that primitive million dollar motor coach. Now that’s roughin’ it.

“Man” makes it sexist and genderist, and it’s probably a white man, which makes it racist...when is BLM and antifa going to show up and protest this hate-filled event?

I don’t think soros sees any value in protesting something in the middle of NFW.

Test a MOAB? Shame on you!

The Burning Man event is odoriferous, but...

Take a look at the different shelters, waste disposal and other ‘inventions’ folks have come up with - one that comes to mind is the Hexayurt.

There is a lot more to see at the event besides the nekkid people - sunburned to a nice ripe tomato rad BTW

The GOPe has been doing it for decades.

Probably one of the top five episodes of “Malcolm in the Middle” was when they went to Burning Man. It was so funny.

As the spirit of antichrist spreads, along with those rejecting the Bible and Bible Prophecy, these sort of PAGAN gatherings become their "new religion" and they throw themselves into it; kinda like dancing around a golden calf. It's an invitation to disaster; a gathering like that.

Romans 10:3-4 King James Version

3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

I assume that’s the dancing around the owl pagan retreat.

Today’s annual Woodstock:

Pagans, leftists, celebrating their spiritual desert in a physical desert.

When are they going to burn a woman? All of the races? Or an Espigender or a Gyragender?
