A famous rabies case from recent years involved a little girl simply picking up and handling a dead bat. She developed rabies and was put in a long coma to cure her, but she still had medical issues after that. One of the few documented cases of a person surviving after developing rabies symptoms.
Grab a tennis racket and smack the thing hard as it's flying around in the room. Knowing full well you've killed the thing, take it to the DNR and let them figure out whether the dead bat has rabies.
I am NOT going to try to capture a bat alive......ain't gonna happen.
The bat must have contracted rabies from an Antifa mob.
I had always heard that rabies was endemic in bat populations, that it is akin to measles in humans i.e. not a big deal. If you get bit by a bat you go get the shots.
