There was one in particular at my school who was verbally abusive to students, a bully, I guess, and should have been fired decades ago but is now collecting his pension. Those kind of teachers are around. Not the norm, but shouldn’t be tolerated in my opinion.

Probably one of their Berkeley ringleaders is former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm (D). The first thing she did after her 2nd term was to pack up and move to CA to work at UC Berkeley.
