And in my state, a full third of our biennial budget goes to "education" (union-thug educRAT extortionists). Now take a look at the percentage of your own confiscatory local property taxes dedicated to "the children".

It should be legal for a town to not have a public school. A private school that is paid for and run by the parents but not run by the municipality. Have you heard of such a thing anywhere?

Another idea is to have a group of parents hire a tutor to educate the kids in the home.
