As Its Influence Wanes, Increasingly Militant MSM Promotes Violence and Censorship
Breitbart ^ | 9/1/2017

Posted on 09/02/2017 2:36:51 AM PDT by Altura Ct.

Yes, the MSM has admitted they got 2016 exactly wrong and that they are out-of-touch with the average American. What truly terrifies the media about 2016, though, is something that has remained largely unspoken. It is what Trump’s victory said so clearly about the MSM’s inability to influence public opinion and, by extension, the outcome of elections. What has also remained unspoken is the media’s desperate and dangerous reaction to this waning influence.

As a 25 year media-watcher, I have never seen anything close to the propaganda campaign the national media launched to defeat Donald Trump last year. It was 24/7, it was coordinated across every news outlet, it was all-hands-on-deck. And Trump still won. Which can only mean that the media’s influence has eroded to a point where, despite hurling every kitchen sink available, they suffered a humiliating loss last November.

Before I get into the grit of the nit, it is important to keep in mind that our media is nothing more than the communication branch of the Democrat Party. When you look at everything the media does — the lying, the campaigns of personal destruction, the fake news, the focus on stuff like Melania’s shoes — this explanation is the only one that makes sense. The media is a full-blown leftwing political operation run, for the most part, by former Democrat operatives like Jake Tapper, George Stephanopolous, and Chuck Todd, as well as those related to Democrat operatives.

Knowing that, and knowing the long history of leftwing regimes (Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Chavez, Castro), we know what a leftwing political operation does when its influence begins to diminish. Because their ideas are so unappealing and are proven failures, the left ultimately has no choice but to embrace violence and censorship.

Nice rant

.......on election day "whites with no college degree", which to the MSM means "STUPID WHITE PEOPLE!!!", disregarded the MSM's assurances that polls showed Trump could not possibly win....and showed up at the polls en masse to give him the presidency....

You'll have to conceded that the sixty-three million Trump voters' visceral disgust w/ Democrats pushing Hillary's candidacy also played a big part in Trump's win.

Fox has the best straight news coverage but the lack of excitement except for a couple of Chris Wallace and Juan Williams outbursts means that for me it just lacks entertainment value. The Young Turks meltdown is good. I can't recommend their full 12 hours of coverage through. I just can't stomach the language.

My favorite for sheer schadenfreude is RT with Larry King, Ed Schultz and Jessie Ventura.

The grab for power and seizing the wealth of nations is in the hands of an elite few. Somebody tell Joe Biden, the only place where there is only one side is in the U.S. Congress.

Boom.......terrific insight.

What the MSM and the Marxocrats and their RINO colleagues have failed to recognize is that the Internet has ended their seventy year informational monopoly they’ve enjoyed since the rise of the big 3 TV networks. The liberals are no longer the information gatekeepers. The MSM has lied to the people for generations with their filters and buffers shielding the Marxocrats and their deep state operatives from scrutiny. The people know this and have discovered other information alternatives.

What was amazing to watch was the total destruction of the CNN brand. CNN used to be a semi respectable news channel. Now it is nothing but a reviled propaganda outlet.

You can play that across the board for probably 99% of both broadcast AND print media. And they are literally committing suicide by doing so. My local daily paper has shrunk and shrunk and now is maybe a dozen sheets of newsprint. People literally are not buying their product anymore.

Currently, a piece of wet toilet paper is worth more than a candidate endorsement by your local newspaper. They’ve earned this opprobrium by their biased, un-American propaganda.

Conservative history has already recorded that the shady election of an unknown quantity....Obama....and the MSM's 24/7 adoration and adulation of a Kenyan in the presidency, greatly contributed to the MSM's loss of credibility.

================================================

I, for one, can never forget that nightmarish scene .... as Uncle Teddy blithely ordered America.... "You better vote for him, or else," as the befuddled Obama looked on in puzzlement, probably wondering how he was going to finesse his unlikely candidacy having nothing but Chicago street creds.

-This truth is as old as the Bolshevik Revolution, and this is exactly what we are seeing unfold. Not bygone politicians, though, it is our media that has turned dangerously militant. Hiding behind the media’s absurdly expanded definition of hate (its fake news), America’s Googles, Facebooks, Twitters, advertisers, and Web servers are blacklisting conservatives, banning populists, and outlawing their ideas.

The MSM and their co-consiprators' colluding to silence the opposition is doomed to failure. Unlike bygone eras, today's opposition still has many other outlets to express their views....not the least of which is sites like FR, and media outlets like Breitbart, The Daily Caller, The Free Beacon, and so on.

The truth will be heard relentlessly.... morning, noon and night, day after day, month after month....despite the MSM's laughable desire to silence us.

All that Perot cared about was derailing fellow Texan George H.W. Bush.

Perot even gave a speech in which he interjected, “Now, I know a lot of you people out there think that I elected Bill Clinton!” Amidst an eruption of booing and hissing he departed the podium like a man in fear of his life. Hasn’t been seen in public since IIRC.

In 1988 Michael Dukakis lost to GHWB with 44% of the vote. In 1992 Bill Clinton beat GHWB with a 43% plurality.

Third party candidate acts solely as a spoiler. Always.

Seriously, for a long time now I have advocated that President Trump absolutely *must* begin antitrust hearings in congress against the media oligarchy.

CBS Corporation
Comcast Corporation
21st Century Fox
News Corp
Time Warner
Viacom
The Walt Disney Company

To make matters worse, these companies are controlled by only about a dozen billionaires, who are very clear where there political orientation lies.

If these companies can have their control and ownership broken up, it will be of huge benefit to the United States.

And once the process is carried out, it can move to other sectors that are also oligopolies, like the financial sector, which can be taken on with the simple idea that “If a corporation is ‘too big to fail’, then it is ‘too big to continue in its present form’.”

That is, to break up these behemoths is an issue of national economic survival. And the longer we delay doing so, the greater the risk.

The wackos on the left will continue to do what they do, but we've still got the sledge hammer of the vote and will batter the system once again at the first and at every opportunity. There's more of us now than last Nov.

It's a beautiful thing. Those statists have been drawn out and exposed for what they truly are. It's never been easier to identify and defeat the frauds.

Actually, Ed Schultz's commentary once the jig was up was pretty sober. He was peeved that Hillary had Podesta take the bullet.

Here is the screenshot of the concession call coming from Huma as Tweeted by a friend of Kellyanne's.

Best. Election. Ever.

The people in the media, or who live in the Clinton Archipelago, have utter contempt for people in “fly over” country. In other words, white people.

We must continue to fight back and never give in.

I always get a kick out of the talking point “with no college degree” intended to impugn poor white voters. This, while ignoring the democrat core voting groups which in their cities are 90% of the high school dropouts and adults reading on a 3rd grade level or below and non-functioning baby factory, check cashing ESL obama phone users.

Buy generic/local brands. FIXED
Most generics are made by the Big Corporations. It's known as 2 level marketing. The profit and power still flows to them. And as for 'local' brands, I'm not too sure about many of them either. You're surrounded!
