To be fair, the last four administrations established a precedent that it was acceptable. Bush, Clinton, Bush II, Obama - all demonstrated that nuclear blackmail was acceptable to us.

Oops, guess they realize they are first in line for sanctions. Overdue. If they don’t want, then they had better stop all commerce with North Korea. Not really difficult and comparing $646 billion vs. $2.96 in 2016, shouldn’t be much of a challenge to make the call.

In this instance, the President is just blowing smoke. The American people like Chinese stuff and if it stops, his Presidency is over.

The china bashers are far outnumbered by those that like stuff.

We can’t make the stuff at a price that is competitive with china or much of the world

China has never acted like anything other than a fully grown mountain troll.

Unsophisticated. 0 imagination - Mao purged the intellectuals.

They spent thousands of years building a wall only to let the enemy in over a chick.

The forbidden city buried the Emperor’s (psychotic loser) concubines alive.

Imagine that? Jack the Ripper as an government institution.

Pee in the street. Pee on the highway. That’s a class civilization.

Shitter splitters let the youth take a dump on a piece of sidewalk cardboard. Right next to western factories.

China is a nothing burger communist shithole.

For all those who have not been (or lived as an expat), you are not qualified to comment because you can not comprehend the level of mob corruption that is their government.

The churches are denied heat - and no sermons are allowed. That is China.

The Christian expats suck it up and revel in the cold hour of Godless fellowship.

F China!

but he will have to live with it.

I’m looking forward to much more “unfairness” toward China in the near future.

We will take out fat boy as a very very last resort. It will be awhile. Problem is that thousands and thousands of SoKo’s could perish. Then what to do with a leaderless North Korea?

That may be the best option, if that can be exploited in some way. I’m sure the Chinese are sick of dealing with that psycho, I mean what does he give China in return but headaches?

Stopping trade with China will hurt us as much as hurting China.

It’s a very simple set of questions to China.

Do you or do you not want to see an end to North Korea’s nuclear arms ambitions?

If you don’t, or if you don’t care whether or not North Korea does end it’s nuclear arms ambitions, then we have nothing to talk about and discussion with you about North Korea is over.

If you do agree that North Korea’s nuclear arms ambitions must end, unconditionally - because what it will do if not ended - it will start a nuclear arms race with your neighbors, then like us you should want all possible pressure on North Korea to be applied until it chooses to end its nuclear arms race.

As long as North Korea has good trade relations with any nation, at any level, it will find the means economically to continue its nuclear arms ambitions; no matter what the cost is to its own people.

Therefore, instead of China complaining about the possible trade sanctions the U.S. might impose, it should be joining the U.S. in agreement on them, and agree to impose them herself in its, China’s, trade relations.

Why? Because it is in China’s national interest. Why? China does not want to see South Korea and Japan with robust anti-missile systems and nuclear arms of their own. And if North Korea’s nuclear arms ambitions do not end, that is what the results will be.

Instead of complaining, China should be together with the U.S. on this.

We don't pay China what it costs them to produce this stuff...We pay the middle men who charge us almost as much as these things would cost were they made in the U.S..

I bet China is behind North Korea acting up.

Naturally in the public they pretend they are not.

The Chinese are like a next-door neighbor who lets his dog poop in your rose bushes.

I would love to cut off trade with China.

I’ve had to give up canned oysters (China) my wardrobe hasn’t had a good update in years (China) and many other things...all because Chinese products have taken over the shelves.

We CAN do without Chinese trade, I lived at least half of my life without Chinese trade.

This is Communist Chinese bull s**t.

Their trading partner and good friend North Korea, is threatening the U.S. and launching missiles and detonating nukes but these Communist AH’s tell us this trade strategy is unacceptable?

BS...

“Tubby accidentally nuked Beijing. That may change their attitude a bit.”

Yep it would and there blanketing the US with their nukes would be the result ,,,
