>>Bolling doesn’t seem like the type
***************************************
I so agree. He just seems like the polar opposite of “the type”.

Perhaps Murdoch’s two daughter-in-laws who pressured their husbands to fire him, (like they did with O’Reilly), depriving Bolling of the chance to remain employed while mounting his defense. These viscous liberals don’t even care to stop and consider the impact of their actions on the families and loved ones of their targets.

That boy was his pride and joy. What a horrendous blow.
I have such a hard time believing these allegations are true. Eric went to Mass every day. No one in that business shows a better example. If his son began to believe the allegations and his shame became overbearing it could’ve been more than he thought he could take.
If Eric was set up, his revenge could be immense. If he did the deeds, his remorse would be overwhelming and devastating to his marriage and his future.
I will pray for them.

“Meanie” Mene looks like he stuck his foot in it for a moment.

But we have to exercise the same degree of circumspection all around if we want to honor God. Do it towards Bolling, then do it towards Mene. The goose’s sauce is also for the gander.

That’s one thing that has taught me to be circumspect. If I were caught in this situation, what would be the most profitable thing to address to me? Look to the golden rule. It needn’t be flattery or insincere compliment, but it shouldn’t fly off the handle either. Enough held back that there is actually room for the grace of God.

Maybe this happened to Mene here so that something worse won’t happen to Mene in the future.

The timing isn’t a coincidence, he may well have had mental / substance issues (or not). What I gaurentee he had is miserable little leftists POS students mocking him for his Father’s Indiscretions.

Yes it is. I just don’t see his dad sending those texts. I wonder if his son had other problems?

I agree, we don’t know a lot of key facts yet, and speculation in such circumstances is reckless.

What I should have said:

Hey, your comment about “years ago” reminded me of what happened to Herman Cain. I never believed the accusations hurled at him (during the primary, how convienient for the lefties!) either. Those liars were paid by the DNC to take Herman out of the election. Herman spoke of this last year, and said it was all proven false but of course that was many years too late for him and those of us who supported him as a candidate.

Damn leftists, and damn the media (same thing, leftists).

I hope your judgement is no where near as bad. Think before you condemn.

Good point. I’ll remain quiet. We consume each other more than the real enemy and that has been clearly shown now and the thread is history.

Maybe Eric was seeking intently for God and doing it in the best way he understood how.

If evangelicals are to extend the hand of the Lord to seeking people in such a way that it offers a consoling hug and not a slap in the face, they may need to learn better manners. The divine manners of God, in fact.

I’m sure there is more back story to the tragedy of his son than this. I can feel it in my bones.

Horrible news.

May those affected from Eric Bolling to other family and friends find some peace and sanity in their lives, find that next right thing to do.

We may find out at some point that Bolling was responsible for bad acts. If so he’ll have to live with himself for the duration. He’ll have to live with the response from the public too.

I can’t in good faith go after him over it now. It bothers me to see others do it. What seemed to make good sense when they did, didn’t.

We stand beside people until the facts are in.

Sometimes we even offer support to them knowing they screwed up. I’ve appreciated Bolling over time, and I’d hate to know he did something like this. He’ll be hit very hard by the weight of it, and the cost. I would continue to stand with him under the right circumstances. A genuine show of acceptance of guilt, remorse, and a genuine apology would suffice.

I think you covered it decently there. I agree with you.

I agree 100 percent. All we know is that the boy is dead. Everything else is speculation.
