I remember when this all became public in early August, and the one thing that perplexed me then and still now is the statement released by his attorney: “Mr. Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications, and will vigorously pursue his legal remedies for any false and defamatory accusations that are made.”
The caution flag for me was “recalls no such inappropriate..,” and “does not believe he sent any such...” Reality is, if you in fact did not do any of these, then why not a clearly stated denial of “Mr. Bolling had no inappropriate communications and did not send any such communications.” There wasn’t clarity of denial in the statement.
But again, still all alleged.
