These people deny the scientific fact that human beings have a biologically assigned sex beginning at conception. To them this is also just a subjective opinion.
These people think that the way science operates is that they formulate an opinion of how things should work, and then they consult science which will always confirm their preconceived beliefs under all circumstances.
These people think science, like everything else in the world, exists to support their never-ending quest to control other people, and ultimately enslave us.
Climate change hoaxers should all be permanently removed from civilization in order to reduce their carbon footprint. And all socialists should have their wealth confiscated and redistributed to the productive members of society.

and that if we give him trillions of dollars...
and control over many trillions more in manufacturing across the world...
then he can manipulate a tiny slice of the 0.037% of the atmosphere that is CO2...
and that with his omniscient and prescient manipulations of the CO2 levels from 0.035% to 0.039% at just the right moments...
this would limit natural disasters, would save millions of lives, and would turn the entire planet into a better place...
and he can and will do all o this for us, no matter what happens with the sun, the oceans, the other 99.965% of the atmosphere, tectonic shifts, and all of the butterflies in Africa fluttering their wings...

Hurricanes gain energy from warm water into colder air, causing rising air. Water temperature was 90º, air temperature was 91º. The temperature differential simply wasn't there for the sea to pump energy into Irma, in fact it should be the other way. Energy can't flow uphill, from a lesser potential to a higher potential, it don't work that way. They'd tend to equalize instead.
I've also heard that it contributes to jungle rot, creeping crud and fallen arches.
