Dems are forever grateful to Trump for the upcoming DACA deal. They will line up themselves to pass the Wall bill. Dems will reciprocate.
It is not “bipartisanship”, it is the adoption of strictly democratic legislation.
Trump will start now to lose his base big time. Then in a few months, all we will hear about is impending impeachment with Trump having no where to turn for support.

After Trump’s EO The Republicans made it loud and clear that they would pass DACA. I figure Trump is extracting something from the Dems for giving them the credit.
In the meantime he’s trying to help the GOP grow spine and do away with 60 vote threshold if they want to ever get any credit for doing something.

Now watch. Ryan will produce a different DACA bill WITH wall funding. Competition works, and fear is a good motivator, and things like the Luther Strange situation in AL have them quaking in their boots.

We WANT this as a stand-alone bill with no Wall or other sweeteners that would give any Republican an excuse to vote for it.
A “naked” bill will have much less chance of passing.
Believe it or not, Trump gave us the best chance of stopping this by separating it from the Wall, giving no one ANY cover.
I think it will narrowly fail. Grassley said it will not pass the Senate. Not sure about that.
