Fake news!! Already been denied by White House and Schumer spokesman.

There's very careful wordsmithing going on.

I think it all means that they have a deal in principle that doesn't include the wall but that Trump reserves the right to push for it.

Trump made a mistake giving DACA six months. Too much time for this type of nonsense to take place. He should have cancelled it immediately. Let Congress vote to extend it or make the "dreamers" US citizens, if they want to commmit suicide.

And France’s cheese eating surrender monkey PM Macron said Trump had changed his mind on global warming.

Stop it. It’s so gullibarrassing that I had to make up a new word to describe it.

The top House and Senate Democrats said Wednesday they had reached agreement with President Donald Trump to protect thousands of younger immigrants from deportation and fund some border security enhancements — not including Trump’s long-sought border wall.

If so, this is not winning.

He can keep his goal of the wall, and probably achieve it.

But he chose to give Democrats a victory on something the Republicans were already going to do. And he chose not to make that victory contingent on the wall.

He’ll get his wall, and Nancy her own self will Christen it.

He just earned the political capital to ensure future success on every chosen endeavor.

It was friggin’ brilliant.

Best I ever seen.

No wall. But a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients.

Winning.

I see it didn’t take the bedwetting brigade long to arrive on the scene

The only good thing I can foresee is that it will force a bill and a vote.

If it does, will find out who stands where and it will be apparent to their constituents.

If it does not result in a bill and a vote, then DACA is over.

Or am I missing something?

Trump tried to drop the hot potato on Congress but the “conservative” chattering class and their useful idiots continue to give amnesty Ryan a pass while aiming their fire at him. With “friends” like that, who needs enemies?

The Republicans in Congress can pass the wall funding, right? They’re in the majority, aren’t they?

There is already a word for it: gaslighting. Inentional lies intended to confuse, demoralize and shape public opinion.

Is there an ounce of fight in this Trump guy?

Or was the “Wall”, which clearly will never be built, just pure political swindle all along?

IF this so-called “deal” doesn’t include the Wall, then Trump just screwed up...Big Time. Unless, of course, there’s something else that we don’t know yet.

Wall? :-) We're a long ways from that. First we need to see some progress on getting rid of ObamaCare and tax cuts. Trump has to find a way to cut a deal with the Republicans in Congress if he wants a wall. It may not even happen. Too many gutless wonders in Congress.

I think you're right. Just because the dems and Trump have an agreement; it doesn't mean the feckless, spineless, good for nothing, repubs will buy into it.

Oh wait! Seriously; I really hope this is just the start to something much better. For one thing the DACA CaCa's can't bring relatives in and won't be citizens for the rest of their lives; simply here legally which means they can't vote either. I think this would be a compromise I could live with.

If I had my way though; every single one would have to go home and apply like anyone else. That's why they can't be citizens until those who have applied ahead of them get a chance first. The inclusion of the Raise Act would insure fewer immigrants and a standard of some kind that prevent low skilled to come in. I'd also like to see a moratorium on Hispanics for 50 years.

I'd also like to see the closing of the birthright citizenship loophole. A simple clarification by congress could do it.

OMG. Not Arnold S. all over again. I always felt the dems were holding something over Arnold (just like Justice Roberts). Hope they haven’t found something to hold over Trump.

The media is trying to make it difficult for Trump to reverse their LIE. You can’t take the AP out of CRAP.
