Bill Clinton was elected twice - she had no problem with the EC then? Funny how that works.
The EC works exactly as designed. Candidates have to be a little more representative of the country as a whole. One or two large population centers don’t determine the outcome of every national election. Without the EC, the constitution would not even have been ratified in the first place.
Either she is a liar, or dumb as a post. Maybe I shouldn’t disparage posts like that. I’m just sick of these grifters talking about “our democracy” when even the WORD democracy is never mentioned once in either the constitution or the declaration of independence. There’s a reason for this. The founders knew history, because they studied it, and wanted to know the reasons that some cultures and some systems of government going back thousands of years - were successful, and some were failures.
They determined that kings and queens, despotic tyrants, dictators, and yes, democracy - aka “mobocracy” was a bad idea, leading to discontent and riots and negation of private property. It’s ironic that the Soviet Union collapsed, but there are enough marxists or communists here in this country to keep the flame alive.
Don’t be fooled. They don’t care about “the people”, they just care about the raw acquisition of power. If they did care about people, then they would be responsive to “We, The People.”
Except, we’re “irredeemable” and “deplorable”, and “white supremacists” and “racist” and “misogynist” and on and on an on etc etc ad infinitum ad nauseam. What a vile creature she turned out to be, just absolutely unbelievable.

In the final four weeks of that campaign season...her advisers had to know that numbers were awful close in four states. Every bit of effort with the final three weeks should have been aimed at the four states in question. You don’t see that.
They are hypnotized to some degree to the idea that they just need national numbers, and not worried about state-by-state voting trends. I’d give almost one-third of the blame for her loss toward these dismal characters. They were paid to get her ahead and they failed.
