Robert E. Lee Elementary School is no more. The oldest magnet school in Hillsborough County, which some school board members were trying to rename as part of a nationwide movement to remove Confederate symbols, burned down on Tuesday night as hundreds of residents watched and children cried.

Their ideology is clear and it is antiamerican
Older school buildings have a charm and a presence that new ones don’t even try to match. They look like factories, intentionally unendearing. Sure, there are tacked on cheerful-looking doodads here and there, but the basic structure and organization is ugly. Functional, but ugly. The left has long been at war with beauty in a classical sense. If they can’t destroy and replace it, they debauch it. Buildings, art, people. Same story across the board.
Was this really a necessary thing to add to a story about a school burning down?
Right before the excerpt you posted that politicized the article was the very, VERY clear CAIR-style denial:
“We have investigators on scene, the fire marshal,” Penny said, “but I want to make something very, very clear — because I know that in our atmosphere this can be contentious — but indications now have nothing to do with the name of this school.”
I hope they catch them. Give them if in prison and owe taxpayers for the building. These maggots should never have life.
