This afternoon, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed President Trump would “absolutely” be signing a resolution drafted by Republican and Democrat lawmakers “condemning” hatred.
“He and [Senator Tim Scott] talked about that and discussed that and agreed that that was the appropriate place to be,” Sanders said. “In terms of whether or not he’ll sign the joint resolution, absolutely, and he looks forward to doing so as soon as he receives it.”
Let’s examine what the motion, passed by both legislative chambers early this week, says.
The preamble, in addition to expressing “support for the Charlottesville community,” demands of the President that he rejects “White nationalists, White supremacists, the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis, and other hate groups” and urges him and his cabinet to “use all available resources to address the threats posed by those groups”.

I’d like to know what the definition of hate is? To hate Satan, surely isn’t a crime. Is it now illegal to use the word “hate” in language? If I publicly state that I hate radical Islam, am I required to prove why, etc? Is this the start of the word police...and worse, the mind police?
MAGA has been over for months. Obama’s third term, however, is definitely getting up to speed.

He should at least simply condemn all racial supremacism or racial supremacism in all its forms.
This is useless on many fronts, but particularly in light of the fact that any kind of dissent from the liberal point of view is labeled as “hate” by liberal fools in the media, in government and in private life.
This is sickening. Trump needs to start acting like a man again with balls. Kissing the rear of whiny RINOs like Tim Scott makes him look weak. Scott is a waste of a senator. He hardly ever opens his mouth and when he does he sounds exactly like a democrat. He was one of the wimps that said Trump didn’t do enough to slam white nationalist and the KKK and of course Scott blamed the Charlottesville riot on them and not BLM and Antifa. My brother has lived in Charleston for 45 years and despises Linda Graham and Scott. Both are RINOs.
Anybody, anywhere, who for any reason tries to shut down the speech of others (outside of legitimate law enforcement in the case of an unambiguous incitement to riot) should be regarded as an enemy of the state and abruptly terminated.
I don’t care WHO is speaking or what they are saying- BLM Pro abortion, anti abortion, hardhats, hippies, KKK or Antifa; interfere with an American Citizen speaking in the public square and it should be a bullet in the head right then and there, or at least a tazering, beating and LONG prison sentence.
Ho Hum, another cave by our virtue signalling Washington crowd. Get back to me when such a resolution includes the left side of the spectrum.

“and other hate groups” is a back-door slap at BLM and Antifa and the like. It’s offensive that he can’t just say it outright, though. It’s offensive that he has to keep proving he’s not in bed with white supremacists, too. When they build the wall, I hope there are spikes at the top, so if there’s a CW2, the Union military tribunals can mount heads on it.

Id be okay with it if BLM, Antifa, La Raza and CAIR were also on the list.
