I think that applied to the free service Equifax offered after their breach. Does anyone know if this Credit Karma offer has any hidden strings attached?

You have a point, I misread that it was creditkarma offering the free service, which I’m sure has some value to them in any case. I won’t let Equifax off the hook at all.
