Next they will be assigning best friends.
Oh, and no American Flag T-shirts on Cinqo de Mayo:
Yeah, it did go to the Supreme Court, who said, yeah, you can send kids home if they do it.
No tether ball, dodge ball, either.
Some schools don’t have outdoors recess, either.
Oh, no chewing your pastry into the shape of a gun, either.
And no touching.
More of the endless meddling by leftists to remold people as they see fit. Damn human history, genetics, or what path an individual student might want to follow of their own free will.
And although anti-best-friend policies may help kids in the short-term, research suggests the strong connections found among best friends could be vital for mental health in a world where adolescents are lonelier than ever.
I'll bet not a single study has established that such policies are even helpful in the short-term. Preventing kids from having friends is the exact opposite of what they need. Who are these kids supposed to turn to when they just need someone to talk to and be themselves around? A huge group of people they don't know isn't going to cut it.
Communists must have equality in all things. Can’t get too close to anyone if the state should decide there is a problem, you know.
They are far from finished attacking our culture from every angle.
Same-sex friendships are essential for the development of other-sex relationships at a slightly later time. This is why these people want them destroyed.
Anything that cements us together has to be destroyed so that THEY can then be the cement.
Students are going to be ordered to have diverse groups of friends who believe what The State believes.
My daughter said, “Lord save our souls. The snowflakes have won.”
We will tell you what to think, when to think it and who you can think it with.
It’s for your own good!
poor kid the only ones that are offended is social climbing adults.....every kid needs a partner in crime to get into trouble with.
Schools ban the 1st Amendment. No freedom of speech. No freedom of assembly. No freedom from religious establishment. No freedom of association.
We used to teach civics and the 1st Amendment in school. It is no wonder they don’t teach it anymore. Kids would get a mixed message.
I’m not sure the headline matches the story here. The policy of having to invite everyone if you pass out invitations at school seems like a good one in the elementary schools.
