Roy Moore invites Trump to Saturday rally days before Alabama Senate election

Judge Roy Moore has invited President Trump to his Alabama Senate campaign rally Saturday night, one night after Trump is set to campaign for Sen. Luther Strange, R-Ala., in Huntsville.
A top adviser to Moore invited Trump to join him a rally in McIntosh, Ala., on Saturday night and meet with many who supported his presidential campaign — including former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and members of the House Freedom Caucus.
"Mr. President, now that your rally schedule in Alabama has changed and the Huntsville Rally has been rescheduled to Friday evening, I am writing to invite you to join your friends ***
"As with the great people of Huntsville, you will be at home in the reddest heart of America with those who have rejected Mitch McConnell's agenda and who have embraced your own agenda," it said.

Trump is slated to hold his rally with Strange Friday night after endorsing him during the primary campaign against Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., in Huntsville. Vice President Pence is also slated to hold a rally with the incumbent Republican on Monday.
Moore, meanwhile, is set to hold a rally Thursday night with Palin and Sebastian Gorka, a former White House staffer, after the two candidates hold their first debate in Montgomery, Ala.
*** Moore is viewed as the favorite ahead of Tuesday and leads by nearly 9 points over Strange, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of polls.

Moore needs to tell his supporters to go Friday night to the Trump rally and wave his signs all over the arena. Make it a defacto Moore rally. Hell, even Moore should show up somehow!

A good solution to the dilemma of two fine candidates seeking one position is for President Trump to nominate Sen. Strange to the vacant Homeland Security position.
After 7½ years, Senator Moore will be old enough to retire, and Mr. Strange can resume his senatorial career with an impressive Executive Branch service resume.
