Washington (CNN)Students at Howard University loudly protested former FBI Director James Comey Friday as he delivered a convocation address.
As Comey, making a rare public appearance since leaving the FBI, began his speech welcoming new students at Howard University, protesters could be heard yelling from the back of the room, raising their fists and shouting. Some of the slogans included "No justice, no peace, "We shall not be moved" and "white supremacy is not a debate."
Standing before a packed auditorium, Comey stood silently for over 15 minutes as the students yelled, "I love being black" and "Get out James Comey -- you're not our homey."
"I love the enthusiasm of young folks, but I wish they understood what a conversation is," Comey said as the students continued to chant, sing and clap throughout his entire prepared remarks. He said that he had received a number of invitations to speak over the place several months, but "chose to come here."

This whole scene sounds like something out of a Dave Chappelle skit. LOL.

Not a fan of Comedy but this behavior by the “students” is juvenile and without any justification.

Comey had multiple invites and chose Howard like a good liberal, assuming he would be welcomed. As Nancy Pelosi found out the new generation of progressives don’t respect the old guard anymore. Apart from being amusing to watch Comey squirm this does not bode well for Democrats in 2018.
Liberals are so stupid; they think patting a black person on their head and saying in a sense, “it’s ok, we know you can’t do it on your own, we’ll take care of you” is not supposed to be racist...that is, and that is why the left is the racist sect of the population.

Totally agree. And I would add that the entire welfare program destroyed the black nuclear family (leading to gangs; boys need male role models) and the entrepreneurial spirit African-Americans had, with thriving businesses, etc.
My father's caregiver is a young black woman who grew up in the same Chicago neighborhood that he did. She visits her parents, who are hard-working, good people who have had to install numerous security measures to feel safe in their own home. They don't even feel safe walking to the store after dark. My dad's caregiver told me that she'll visit her parents (who don't want to sell the home they raised their children in), and then gets out as fast as she can. This is what we have reaped from what Democrats have sown.
