Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz sure sounds like a 2020 presidential candidate
Washington Post ^ | September 21, 2017 | Aaron Blake

Since announcing in December that he would step down as Starbucks chief executive, there has been speculation that Howard Schultz is eyeing a run for president in 2020. A couple weeks back, I pegged him as the businessperson most likely to win the Democratic nomination.

Well, Howard Schultz sure sounds like a candidate.

The so-called Robber Barons of the Gilded Age were not so delusional as to think of running for major public office.

I still think it will be next to impossible for a Secular Progressive Jew to win the Presidency.

“I still think it will be next to impossible for a Secular Progressive Jew to win the Presidency.”

Politics is nonlinear. Reason and logic do not apply. A lot depends on circumstances, like the state of the economy at the time and who the other side runs. A McCain or a Romney are probably beatable by any competent, articulate and clean-looking Democrat. All he has to do is pick a vision and stick with it. “It’s the economy, stupid” was infinitely better than “I’m with her.” (It should have been “She’s with us.” But, then, Hillary’s ego got in the way and she tripped over it.)

On the other side of the coin, a Democrat will have to knit together factions that are so far apart they barely seem like the same party. I guess, essentially, they aren’t. He’d have to somehow appeal to Wall Street, socialists and communists. Then again, a Republican candidate who makes the base stay home might still be beatable.

Frankly, I was astonished that Clinton and Obama both got two terms. We knew what they were. But, again, it’s who they ran against.

Is this the guy who said he’s giving 10,000 Starbucks jobs to illegal aliens?

“Stepped down” and “former” are terms used for losers.

I hope he anchors his campaign on carbon taxes and open borders.

He'll win in a landslide!

“If Obama can win, anyone can.”

Obama was the “white people’s self-catharsis” for slavery. And I think he managed to poison the well for any black to be a successful candidate for many years to come. Jews have always operated behind the scenes. They are really good at pulling strings and funding Commie stuff. Just look at George Soros, Zuckerberg ( and the rest of the Silicon Valley brahmins) and Goldman, Sachs, et. al in Wall St., and their “flock.” They want to try and “run things” by backing non-Jews for public office. That way they never tip their hand or risk real exposure.

I am betting in the 2020 and 2024 presidential election you will see it full off liberal business men. right now I see people like Mark Cuban and mark Zuckerberg playing around with the idea of entering politics Like trump did... the next election for trump will not be against a Elizabeth Warren or a Cory Booker. they will try and run but I am betting that the democrat primary will be crowded with business men.
