Johns Hopkins stopped doing “reassignment” surgery due to the high suicide rates. One might think that anyone who really was acting in the interest of individuals with gender dysphoria might be a little concerned. But they aren’t, they’re acting in the interests of their own political biases and to hell with the patients. Now it can’t even be studied lest the truth be verified. This is a monstrous denial of science, academic freedom, and human decency.
When the left gets into power it shows that it really nothing but a bunch of fascists.
Trofim Lysenko would be proud.
But the SJWs running college campuses seem afraid of scientific scrutiny of their dogma.

Indeed, studies that demonstrate harmful effects of a "medical treatment" usually do discourage people from undergoing it...

The ones that regret it must have realized that they never really changed their sex, since it’s impossible. It’s too bad governments, the media, doctors and universities don’t want to tell the truth.

A “study” is not necessary. Just look at their suicide rate.
Academics are individuals who can not provide goods or services of value to others, so they "study" things of little or no consequence, pontificate upon them and expect to be paid for it, usually from public funds.
A male former student started dressing women’s dresses a few years ago. I hear he has had “the surgery” and is now more depressed than ever. Apparently he really thought that if he had the right body parts “resculpted” he would find the elusive happiness he was looking for—he hasn’t. I wish him no ill will, but he will never be a woman, no matter what he does or some people say. It’s very sad that he is so messed up.
