My wife and I just rented and saw this:
“The Case for Christ”
I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.
I will recommend it.

"He beat his wife, took drugs and slept around but he was a super christian!" Amazing, how superior that made you feel... Did it help with your problem?

Steve spent much of his youth in a Chino, CA, home for
"troubled" youth. As an adult, he often returned with gifts and encouragement. Whether this habit was prompted by his faith or not is unclear, but at least it certainly seems indicative of a movie star who saw beyond Hollywood to real life.
Greg Laurie's childhood was similar to McQueen's: irresponsible mother, abusive stepfathers, etc., which perhaps helps explain his interest in McQueen's biography.

We just saw this movie in Knoxville. Excellent! I believe it will be shown again at theaters on October 10.
In a recorded interview two weeks before he died, he had a strong testimony and regretted that he wouldn’t have time to tell others about the Lord.
