However I agree with one thing in this nasty rant. The flag and anthem are not and never were about the military. They are and always were about our liberties, our values, our institutions and even our flaws.The recent emphasis thst those who protest are disrespecting our troops is misguided. They are disrespecting America. That is their right, but returning that disrespect on them, peacefully, unless in self defense, is a right thst belongs to the rest of us.
