North Korea carried out failed SLBM engine test in September: Asahi Shimbun
North Korea is believed to have carried out another test of a ballistic missile engine last month which failed and exploded during testing.
That's according to Japanese newspaper, Asahi Shimbun, on Saturday, which adds that South Korean and U.S. officials believe it was an engine for a submarine-launched ballistic missile, or SLBM, possibly the Pukguksong-3.
The failed test is said to have taken place at the eastern port city of Sinpo, home to a shipyard that makes the regime's submarines.
The explosion may have injured or even possibly killed several engineers.
P!
For some reason Pukguksong seems like an appropriate name for a North Korean rocket engine. Remember when the missile was called Nodong?
Excellent hacking.
Just a bit ahead of things, they were. Fat Boy would have been waiting for them.
If any died, it's more likely that Kim had them killed.
Quickly, let’s build the giant laser in space over North Korea...
The North Korean have many rocket tests as if someone is in supplying all the parts. Who is that? Ukraine? Russia? China?
Only For those who don’t know...
The submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) is a ballistic missile capable of being launched from submarines. Modern variants usually deliver multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRVs) each of which carries a nuclear warhead and allows a single launched missile to strike several targets.
What was decided in Moscow?
Choe Son-hui, deputy director general of the North Korean Foreign Ministrys North American bureau, (and adopted (?) daughter of former premier Choe Yong-rim) visited Moscow and according to the article below:
“NHK said the visit was intended to get Russian help to contain China’s efforts to fully implement the resolution of the UN.”
