Britain will limit sales of sulphuric acid and outlaw the sale of such corrosive substances to children after a spate of assaults and its possible use to make bombs, interior minister Amber Rudd said on Tuesday.
Much to public alarm, the number of incidents where assailants have used acid has risen sharply, with police figures suggesting there had been more than 400 corrosive substance attacks in the six months to April this year.

Who on this green earth would ever sell a container of sulfuric acid or drain cleaner to a kid. I Wouldn’t out of real and serious concern that the kid would have an accident handling that substance. The substance isn’t the problem, it’seems all the people you allow to walk unvetted.
How about address the problem of uncontrolled immigration and immigrants with too much time on their hands with nothing to do.

So long as there's no real price to be paid for committing heinous acts of violence against others, the mayhem will continue.
Western governments are failing in their primary job, by not meting out punishments that are equal to the crime. Leniency only begets more violence and anti-social behaviour.
It's as simple as that.

Widespread assumption here that this is a Muslim thing. Although the original spate of acid attacks were often Muslim ‘honour’ issues etc, what’s happened over the last year is that acid has simply become the fashionable weapon of choice for British inner-city street gangs, which are predominantly Afro-Caribbean and poor white British, only a minority Muslim.
They need muslim control, not acid control.
