They are so used to talking in circles both on the lecture platform and in the faculty lounge that they just can't help themselves when asked to speak out on their specialty. Sort of like congresscritters.

One would think that a mass murderer like that would,unless he's *1000%* off his rocker,understand that he's almost certain to die at some point during,or soon after,his crime.That would certainly apply in *this* case at least.

So then one would ask why,unless he's totally off his rocker,would he feel the need to take so many people with him?
