How To Stop ISIS From Getting Their Hands on American-Made Guns
Right Wing News ^ | October 3, 2017 | Sam Bocetta

In order to stop the threat of ISIS in Southeast Asia, the US government must take measures to cut off ISIS’ access to firearms from the United States.

A few days ago, Reuters reported that the Trump administration is preparing legislation that would make it easier for American gun manufacturers to sell weapons abroad. Aides are supposedly preparing to shift oversight of non-military firearms from the State Department to the Commerce Department.

This development is worrying, because at present ISIS – and other terror groups – rely on US made weapons. A major portion of ISIS’ growth in recent years has occurred in the Philippines, where it has become more active and caused chaos, culminating in a recent attack on Marawi. One of the reasons it has done more damage is its ability to acquire more powerful weapons and deliver them to militias through its supply lines, and this process is reliant on the group’s ability to legally acquire US-made weapons. Making it easier to do so is not a good idea.

After the Las Vegas terrorist incident, we should be more vigilant against American progressivists.

The media has been instigating, even supporting calls for, Trump supporters to be murdered.

It seems one of their progressivist terrorists took them seriously.

there’s no way to stop anyone from acquiring a few firearms or any other normal weapons

very large shipments can often (but not always) be detected, of course, but, aside from serendipity, it requires major investments of serious spying resources (and in this instance, on a global scale)

Israel has one of the very best intelligence operations anywhere, and Muslims still keep attacking Israeli schools, shops, homes, you name it...with weapons

it is the attackers, the terrorists that need to be eliminated.....their toys don’t shoot by themselves

This essay makes no sense. They are not getting them from US gun shows. The overseas gun market stems from supplying proxies and nation building-- they don't keep track of their inventories. It's not rocket science.

And glad he used the Mindanao example. It's an island. It is the perfect battleground in which to exterminate. Get with it President Duterte.

The wars in Iraq, Libya and Syria since 2003 have caused astronomical amounts of weapons, ammunition and explosives to be looted from military bases by various rebel and terrorist groups. Then there is the direct arming of rebels and terrorists in Libya and Syria. Other sources of arms from US suppliers to these terrorists are a drop in the ocean.

Another Congressional bill that is like putting a band aid on someone who has been decapitated.

Kill them all, send them our idiot Congress critters that are arming them, and end all CIA/obamunist programs to arm them with prejudice and the understanding that disobeying leads to treason charges and death.

This is horsesht. This is the kind of argument that sees weapons lack of access for South Sudanese and zcroates while the other side gets all the stuff they need from communist nations and islamists.

No UN treaty ban, period.

Exactly, ISIS weaponization was a political problem like Fast and Furious , not a weapon free flow problem, but a selective discrimination of weapon delivery at the whi, of politicians, lobbies and presure groups.

Plan A: Kill ISIS; then we don’t have to worry about them getting guns.

Plan B: Kill ISIS and don’t worry about where the survivors will get their guns; AKs are cheaper than ours, so they don’t want many of our guns in any case.
