How the Democrats Set Up Puerto Rico for Disaster
Front Page ^ | October 2, 2017 | Daniel Greenfield

We’ve seen this show before.

When there’s a national disaster, neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble, shelters are filled with crying families, and a Republican is in the White House, the Democrats jump into action.

Not to help, but to make political capital from a disaster that they helped cause.

After Hurricane Katrina, the media shrieked that survivors inside the New Orleans Superdome were murdering each other. But there actually wasn’t a single murder in the Superdome. And no, NBC’s Brian Williams, never saw any corpses floating past the Ritz-Carlton. The media exaggerated and lied.

Democrats and the media lie about the relief efforts in Puerto Rico. Democrat politicians spread lies and the media use the lies to attack President Trump.

This is another of those moments when people reveal their level of intelligence, by what they believe to be true.

Trump and our government at all levels have tried their best to help Puerto Rico.

The governor says so, and all the mayors except one say so.

So our media swoops in and talks to the one mayor, and ignores the governor and the other mayors.

Never-mind that the one mayor hasn’t been attending FEMA meeting where they discuss everyone’s needs and address how to remedy the shortcomings.

This mayor should be removed, put in a person who actually has concern for their citizens.

CNN and other MSM outlets, should be ashamed, if they are spreading the big lies.

This mayor is the L in LGBT, and so hates Trump and cannot be expected to say anything reasonable.

You have to cut Brian Williams some slack. He was suffering from a flashback. The situation in New Orleans after Katrina brought back memories of when he covered Custer’s Last Stand.

Could be. I’ve seen very little of her.

This is from the same playbook as Ray Nagin used during Katrina, where the local mayor failed to take preparatory steps, then once the crisis was passed, put in a series of delaying tactics to where the stores of relief supplies were deliberately not distributed, even though a large and growing supply was available.

Trump did not fail. But Yulin Cruz did.

Big Time.

And now, in spite of the earlier commotion and disagreeability, Mayor Yulin Cruz has an invitation to the White House. But she won’t be allowed to speak from the podium.

The high cost of hurt feelings.
