I have a couple of problems with that theory, which as I understand it is that the guard offed Paddock, shot himself to appear a victim and then greeted police at the elevators.
First problem is that I gather the guard was actually on another floor beforehand talking to people who pointed him up to where the sound of the shooting had been coming from. Seems not to fit.
Second, I don't think Paddock would have allowed the accomplice to put a revolver in Paddock's mouth, he would have resisted and the accomplice would have had to shoot him differently.
What size magazine do you think the shooter was using in that volley of bullets???
I am no expert on the latest tech but the magazines I saw in the pictures that have shown up, appeared to be double stack type. I saw no drum magazines. Had he been real serious with the equipment that they claim he had he could have fired several thousand rounds, but didn't.
Hey, it appears that a 30 round magazine will empty in approx. 2 seconds while a 50 round magazine takes about 3 seconds...
The bump fire rigs are good for about half the speed of a full auto.

I will play along because I agree (fuel tanks), adding I believe somebody else was supposed to park the car close to the tanks and THEY intended to set them off first, pushing the crowd right at him... Mow them down in much larger numbers and escape in the ensuing confusion. I think its the reason nobody ran when shots started, he was not shooting at them yet. His accomplice left him hanging and it became a suicide mission...

They are definitely operating under the possibility of more than Paddock being involved. I’m not sure they know for sure but they want to treat this collection of evidence and chain of custody with proper procedures IN CASE there is another person or people. Makes sense, but at this point doesn’t mean there is another or others.
Why does he/she claim the work for LVPD? It’s LVMPD and that’s how anyone who really worked for them would refer to them not LVPD.
