The American Left’s really gone off the rails these past two years. You think about all their hysteria over Civil War statues or transgender nonsense, all of it is a recent phenomenon with them.

For more than a century, statues of Confederate heroes gazed out over demonstrations by the Industrial Workers of the World, labor union rallies, civil rights marches, and protests against the wars in Vietnam, Iraq, and so on. Only after November 8, 2016 did they suddenly become controversial.

Their goal is to erase everything “American”.

‘Their goal is to erase everything “American”.’

the ultimate goal is the appeasement of blacks in its entirety; if that can be done by destroying American values, so be it, or if it can be done without destroying them, so be it, as long as the objective is acheived...every social upheaval going on today has that as its end, from athletic events to statue removals, and will continue apace until some as yet unknown standard will be reached...

Pretty amusing, threatening people who are all carrying rifles (with fixed bayonets), many with sidearms.

Sure, they're all shooting blanks now, but that can change with one reload.

Indeed.

And a .53 Caliber Minie ball can leave QUITE a big hole.

The horse's original name was Rienzi but was renamed Winchester. One of the more famous war horses and now stuffed and mounted and can be seen at the Smithsonian in D.C. The horse was taller at the shoulder 5'8" than the General who was 5'5" (in boots).

There is a somewhat famous poem that celebrates the man and horse (last verse);
Hurrah! hurrah for Sheridan!
Hurrah! hurrah for horse and man!
And when their statues are placed on high
Under the dome of the Union sky,
The American soldier's Temple of Fame,
There, with the glorious general's name,
Be it said, in letters both bold and bright:
"Here is the steed that saved the day
By carrying Sheridan into the fight,
From Winchester--twenty miles away!"

I drove through Middletown VA yesterday afternoon, and there was an American Flag, alternating with a Confederate flag, every 50 feet, on either side of the street, all the way across town.

They do this during the re-enactments at Cedar Grove. It is not to glorify the Confederate flag. It is history.

Also, Jon - Erik Hexum. He was one of the stars of “Voyagers!”, a late-80’s TV show. Was goofing around with a blank - loaded firearm and killed himself by accident.

Imagine the reenactors in a hundred years.

“Hello, my name is Greg. My character is ‘Sally’ a 24 year old member of AntiFa. I am enrolled as a graduate student in gender studies. I am polyqueer genderfluid and my pronouns are Zim/Ze. I am wearing the black mask typical of AntiFa of the era.

You may notice my hair is purple. That was a common color of the time. It was very significant as it identified me as a member of the SJW group.”

Mr. Mercat still talks about the cannon firing. I remember the horses. They didn’t even flinch when the guns fired. A good read is Confederate in the attic.

Remember some actor offed himself by accident playing with a blank firing pistol several years back.

Wasn't Bruce Lee's son Brandon killed by a blank while filming The Crow?

Months later, while in Vermont being celebrated, Sheridan took some flak for being in Winchester. His response was great: ‘Better late than Early’.
The Statehouse has a huge mural depicting the Battle of Cedar Creek, painted by Julian Scott. Scott enlisted as a fifer at age 15 and was awarded a Medal of Honor at age 19 for actions during the Battle of Lee’s Mills.

What’s completely suspicious about this is the blocking of information about this case. No description from the FBI or local cops of either the “device” or the outsiders seen at the location where the device was found.

Why the blackout?

The Williams Repeating Cannon could handle that job well.

I expect my youtube package on it will be taken down sooner or later.

Wasn't Bruce Lee's son Brandon killed by a blank while filming The Crow?

Wikipedia:

In the scene in which Lee was accidentally shot, Lee's character walks into his apartment and discovers his fiancée being beaten and raped by thugs. Actor Michael Massee's character fires a .44 Magnum revolver at Lee as he walks into the room. A previous scene using the same gun had called for inert dummy cartridges fitted with bullets (but no powder or primer) to be loaded in the revolver for a close-up scene; for film scenes which utilize a revolver (where the bullets are visible from the front) and do not require the gun to actually be fired, dummy cartridges provide the realistic appearance of actual rounds. Instead of purchasing commercial dummy cartridges, the film's prop crew created their own by pulling the bullets from live rounds, dumping the powder charge then reinserting the bullets. However, they unknowingly or unintentionally left the live primer in place at the rear of the cartridge. At some point during filming, the revolver was apparently discharged with one of these improperly-deactivated cartridges in the chamber, setting off the primer with enough force to drive the bullet partway into the barrel, where it became stuck (a condition known as a squib load). The prop crew either failed to notice this or failed to recognize the significance of this issue.

In the fatal scene, which called for the revolver to be actually fired at Lee from a distance of 3.6–4.5 meters (12–15 feet), the dummy cartridges were exchanged with blank rounds, which feature a live powder charge and primer, but no bullet, thus allowing the gun to be fired without the risk of an actual projectile. But since the bullet from the dummy round was already trapped in the barrel, this caused the .44 Magnum bullet to be fired out of the barrel with virtually the same force as if the gun had been loaded with a live round, and it struck Lee in the abdomen, mortally wounding him.

Regards,
