The N.F.L. appears to have forgotten that they are in an entertainment business. As such their political views, as an organization rather than individuals, is not germane to their business.
If they were an individual to whom I would be giving a performance evaluation; “This employee has reached rock bottom and has started to dig.” I would also add that the delusions of grandeur and impunity have feet of unfired clay in a flood.

I have an idea the Roger Goodell would probably like. The NFL teams should hand out literature with voter ballot recommendations to the fans as they come into the tax payer funded stadiums.
