Trump warns McCain: 'At some point I fight back, and it won't be pretty'

President Trump warned on Tuesday that he would "fight back" after Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) delivered a blunt denunciation of nationalist forces that was seen by many as a thinly veiled attack on the president.

"People have to careful, because at some point I fight back," Trump told WMAL radio host Chris Plante. "I'm being very nice. I'm being very, very nice. But at some point I fight back, and it won't be pretty."

McCain responded to Trump's comments moments later, saying that he has "faced far greater challenges than this," according to CNN.

I wonder if Trump has new info on McCain? Last year, "The Arizona Independent Daily" (AID) revealed that some really significant information on McCain's POW record had resurfaced. I have not heard of what developed from it:

Now, a recording of McCain has been uncovered that appears to support those claims.

While the AID, properly noted questions about the group that posted that audio on youtube, it also noted that they found and published the below National Archives page listing that audio recording (monitored and recorded by US intelligence) that strangely disappeared for years before reappearing. Note: As for the other POWs listed as also making that propaganda broadcast, you should remember that Jeremiah Denton was using his appearance on those enemy broadcasts to blink his eyes to spell "TORTURE" in Morse code. No similarly heroic motive has been revealed for McCain.

Ironic that McCain fears “nationalism” and yet he served in the U.S. Navy. I wonder if he’s a supporter of those Navy commercials that touted our military as a “global force for good”.

Could McCain’s brain cancer be fake news to gain sympathy from the press and voters as well as insulate him from attacks by Trump? Six months from now he announces his cancer is in remission and receives the adulation of the press and his comrades in the Senate.

I have wondered about this myself. I doubt he's faking the cancer, but it would not surprise me if the diagnosis was not as dire as he has portrayed. After a "miraculous" recovery, he could proudly exclaim, "850 of my classmates at the Naval Academy beat me, 5 US airplanes beat me, the Viet Cong beat me, Barack Obama beat me and Donald Trump beat me, but cancer could not beat me!"
