Dr. Pamela Buchbinder pleaded not guilty Friday to the attempted murder of her ex-lover and fellow shrink Michael Weiss — and was ordered held without bail by a Manhattan Supreme Court judge.
“I’m innocent,” a thin, haggard-looking Buchbinder told reporters as detectives led her, handcuffed, through a public hallway and into the courtroom.

Show me a psychiatrist and I’ll show you someone with more issues than all the newsstands in Times Sq, Grand Central, JFK, O’Hare, LAX, Heathrow, etc. combined. The dirty little secret is the reason many people are either in college majoring in psych or out in the field is so they can try to figure out why they themselves are so screwed up in the head to begin with.

That’s partially true. If you’ve even taken a class in psychology, you’ll know there is a tendency to find within yourself just about every malady you study. Of course, at that stage, there are no treatments or cures discussed in depth. That is for upper classes and/or psychiatrics. So the non-psych majors go away from psychology thinking they’re a little crazy.

Why is the left side of her face noticeably lower than the right? Could it have anything to do with her fixation on sledgehammers? Did her father use one on her when she was younger? That would go a long ways in explaining all of this - the psychiatry, the murderous yet unemotional hatred of her husband, the sledgehammer....

I suffer from Mental illness and stopped seeing psychologist years ago when I figured out that most of them would mess me up even more if I listened to them...I am very distrusting of the field after 35 years of being a client of serval clinicians. a few time the person I was dealing with seemed to me to have issues that made treating me with therapy problematic.
I gave re-uptake inhibitors a try
hoping to counter the angst. No thanks.

Too true! Noticed this in college.
It is those plucked to death eyebrows that got my attention. A couple of bold caterpillars above each sunken eye might just improve her appearance.
